Sometimes, your winning bid can be canceled by the seller. This can happen in various situations.

The seller can close the auction before the scheduled date in case the item is lost or damaged. The highest bidder field remains empty.

- The highest bidder was removed
If the last bid was deleted, the next highest bidder becomes a winner.

- The winner was removed
If the seller removes the winning bidder, their rating will be decreased. If the bid was removed due to the bidder's fault, the bidder 's rating will be lowered.
In such cases the previous bidder gets the item if they consent.

- The item removed from the auction
According to the Yahoo Auction rules, the item can be removed from the auction before its' closing time. The seller can remove all bids without their rating lowered.
