グッドマンセン氏の最後の仕事がSPU Royalでした。
金銀の自然合金と同等の合金（electrum）を合成してコイルを創り上げました。
サマコバを磁気回路にあえて採用、針は録音用カッターと同じ形状のReplicant100 を採用。
SPU Royal の奏でる音質は柔らかくて自然で、繊細な音質は紛れも無く最高傑作品の一つです。
